Game On! To End Lupus 2025
Game On! To End Lupus (GOTEL) is an annual fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) at the beginning of Lupus Awareness Month, so the first week of May usually, every year! The campaigns are (largely) left open and the main official campaign is left open until the end of Lupus Awareness Month but the main events are mostly during the GOTEL weekend itself. It started in 2020 so this is it's 6th Annual event. We know the world is in chaos right now, but this year is on track to possibly be the year that GOTEL will have collectively raised $1,000,000 for Lupus research and Lupus health care resources. It's incredible.
I have loved ones with lupus and several other autoimmune diseases in my life, I have lost some people to autoimmune disease complications, and I know many lupus warriors who are still out here kicking serious booty.
As a chronically ill and permanently disabled woman, who has a mysterious undiagnosed issue with my own immune system, I feel so deeply for my friends and family who struggle with their own bodies being a battle field every day. While I do not know exactly what it's like for any of them, they get deep running empathy and support from me - however I can manifest that. I also know that lupus can manifest in so many different ways that no two people with lupus have the same experience with it.
We love to educate each other here, to uplift each other, and to support one another. This specific event and its cause is very close to my heart.
It's an honor to raise money for it every year, it's an honor to work on my fundraiser every year, and it's an honor to help moderate for the LFA year round for this event/their Discord server.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America 2023
Boys & Girls Club of America on Friday, December 8th, 2023!
I was so excited for it. I think we all know how mental health can be that time of year and how especially hard it can be if your home life is rough or you're a struggling youth who doesn't have complete agency over their own lives yet.
I know that time of year is always very hard on me and has been since I was young. I was so excited to have teamed up with HundredX on a campaign to raise money for Boys & Girls Club of America and raise money to support kids who really need the empowerment that BGCA provides them. They have programs to help kids with their education, health & wellness, give kids a voice through art, give them an outlet through sports and other recreation programs. I have always admired BGCA since I was a teen, so this was very cool for me.
We raised over $1,800 that weekend for BGCA that was confirmed to make it to them.

Fiery Farms for the Kids
Participating in the Corey's Farm Festival event benefitting No Kid Hungry meant so much to me.
The premise of Corey's Farm Festival was "each donation you make not only helps children, it helps Corey! Our loveable mascot inherited a farm, and it’s in rough shape. On our way to meeting our fundraising goal, unlocking milestones unlocks upgrades for Corey’s farm, and that’s not even the best part: Creators and donors can see their names on crops, farm animals, and buildings."
About No Kid Hungry: "

I was in Germany during this GOTEL and did more behind the scenes work and awareness than fundraising, but was still proud to be involved. ♥
$25 raised, but also much international awareness of the campaign and what LFA does for Lupus research globally as well.

FreeGeek - "No Child Left Offline" - 2020
Free Geek asked me to fundraise as part of their "No Child Left Offline" efforts for the 2020-2021 school year when everything was going to be solely online but many families did not have computers for their children to attend from.
I streamed for 12 hours for a local nonprofit that means a lot to me raising money for giving computers to computerless children in my area so they don't get left behind that school year. The nonprofit, Free Geek, is dedicated to including everyone in our digital future. The type of mission I can really get behind. Their mission is to sustainably reuse technology, enable digital access (for all), and provide education to create a community that empowers people to realize their potential. They've meant a lot to my area and people dear to me over the last 20 years and I appreciate them loads. We spent the day chatting with people who worked at Free Geek at the time while playing PC Building Simulator to learn how to build and repair PCs ourselves, alternating with community gaming throughout the day.
The campaign website no longer is up or functional but we raised enough money to provide multiple families with laptops so they could log in alongside their classmates instead of being left behind as well as providing even more families with access to sufficient internet for the school year. I'm incredibly proud of everyone who helped make this happen.
The Bail Project 2020

The Bail Project is a national nonprofit organization that combats mass incarceration by disrupting the money bail system—one person at a time.
We believe that ending cash bail is one of the defining civil rights and racial justice issues of our day. Through our efforts, we seek to transform pretrial justice for future generations, bringing us one step closer to ending mass incarceration and racial and economic disparities in the U.S. criminal legal system and ensuring that courts uphold the presumption of innocence by not punishing people before they have a trial.

The first ever Game On! To End Lupus was such a joy to be a part of and one of the first big charity events I was a part of as a streamer rather than just a single person effort at a fundraiser. I'm so glad to have been involved with it since it started. What an honor and privilege.
