Hey everyone!

This is what is happening with "Yakuza Fridays".

It all started with our BGCA fundraiser for the holiday season 2023, the community unlocked me trying the Yakuza franchise and community goals since then unlocked me playing the rest of the main franchise of them. Now I'm hooked!

I am playing through the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise main games from 0 through current releases. Only on Fridays (except 1 exception so far when we only had a couple hours left of Yakuza 5 last year so I beat it on one of my Saturday streams.) I don't stream every Friday no matter what because life has gotten in the way. During this time frame I've traveled, gotten married, had 5 deaths that mattered to me happen, taken time off to help family, moved myself and dealt with loved ones' estates, traveled for several conventions, and more. Some of that has taken me away for several Fridays over the time since we started Yakuza Fridays haha.

I don't own all of the Yakuza titles yet - the first half I played on Game Pass before they were removed last year (which caused its own lapse in Yakuza Fridays while I got that sorted out haha) so I can't revisit those, and I don't own titles like Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii, Judgment + Lost Judgment, etc. yet so we're not gonna worry about those until we get there.

How I've been playing so far:

  • Yakuza 0
    - My first Yakuza/Like A Dragon title! Started January 5th (2024) and beaten in March
  • Yakuza Kiwami
    - Started March and beaten in April
  • Yakuza Kiwami 2
    - Started May and beaten in September
  • Yakuza 3 Remastered
    - Started September and beaten in November
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered
    - Started in November and beaten on January 3rd (2025)
  • Yakuza 5 Remastered
    - Started January 12th and beaten July 19th
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
    - Started on July 25th and beat it on October 3rd.
  • Yakuza: Like A Dragon
    - Started on October 10th and beaten on April 17th 2026

Next will be:

  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
    - Because it is concurrent to Yakuza: Like A Dragon

Then we'll move on to:

  • Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
  • Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
    - Hopefully 🤞🏻
    - It's supposed to take place following the events of Infinite Wealth so we're not in a rush to get there until we get through TMWEHN and Infinite Wealth anyway.

I'm considering doing depending on availability when we get done with everything above:

  • Judgement
  • Lost Judgement
  • The other side content that has been made. I'd even love to try the Streets of Kamurocho freeware if I can get my hands on it somewhere still.

Thanks for coming along for this ride!

For anybody looking for my deep dive timelime and lore notes, that I have to fill out a bunch more: This lives here!

- Fiery ♥

Hey all,

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I first made this Uservoice so I'm glad that it wasn't closed so it is still able to be voted for and commented on. I still think that this idea would revolutionize how Twitch works for a LOT of streamers.

There are SO many arguments for multiple or stacking categories.

For stacking categories - things like:

"Retro" -> "EarthBound"
"Games + Demos" -> "Wax Heads Demo"
"Makers + Crafting" -> "Knitting"
"Co-working & Studying" - > "Spirit City: Lofi Sessions"
"Special Events" -> "Award Show" or "Birthday" or "Charity Fundraiser" would all be really cool stackable categories that could be reasonable to create to these ends.
"Resident Evil" -> "Resident Evil 4 Remake"
"Pokémon" -> "Hey You, Pikachu!"
"Pokémon" -> "Pokopia"
"Elder Scrolls" -> "Skyrim"
OR "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" as a main category (a category that has 2.5m followers) and being able to pick "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition  (a release that cleaned up some graphics and loading screens which is has its own category that has only 180k followers)"
"Tabletop RPGs" -> "Dungeons & Dragons"
- and then request there are some other stackable categories made that would be their own uservoice notes. It wouldn't need to be every single game but I'd probably make a uservoice suggesting "Mythos RPGs", "Powered By The Apocalypse Games", "Indie RPGs", "Horror RPGs", or and some other broad buckets that are really common.

For multiple categories:

"Special Events" + "Words on Stream"
"Special Events" + "King of the Castle"

"Makers + Crafting"  + "Placid Plastic Duck Simulator"
"Science & Technology" + "Talk Shows + Podcasts"
"Tabletop RPGs" + "Talk Shows + Podcasts"
"Spirit City: Lofi Sessions" + "Words on Stream" or "Placid Plastic Duck Simulator"

So many people technically qualify for multiple categories at once. But also, it'd be SO much better of not just a streamer experience but a viewer experience if you're looking for "Tales" series games being played in general and you could go to a broad series category and see "Tales of Symphonia" streams in the same place as "Tales of Eternia". Being able to see every Resident Evil rather than checking every single sub category, but also being able to see which one they are playing while checking the broader big category. Like "Oh, I checked all big Resident Evil category and I'm seeing a couple RE2, an RE2Remake, an RE0... oh! Cool, someone is playing Code Veronica right now! Nice!" ya know?
"Looking in Retro... oh man, someone is finally streaming my favorite game from when I was a kid - Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose!" rather than sifting through every thumb nail of retro in case they are in Retro to reach more people rather than being in a category only a very small number of people follow or ever check.

Plus, so many people will do things like doing a major thing like art or Foods & Beverages or some kind of special event... but also play little chat integrated games at the same time. I think both are equally valid and the people looking for either should be able to find the streams that are doing both.

Thanks to everyone who has voted on this already and shared this already. I appreciate it a bunch. If you are reading this and have a Twitch log in - you don't need to be a streamer to vote on Twitch Uservoice entries, so you can vote for this too still if you'd like and share it wherever you'd like to.

I love all the seasons in their own ways and Spring is such a lovely time of year. I think it is really interesting and quite the shame that April flowers bloomed in February in my area. But I am glad to have all the lovely flowers around regardless. The plants that are here are doing their best in the changing meanings of seasons. 💜

I wonder how we best support pollinators and their ecosystems if the blossoms they depend on in specific months are gone a weeks or months early. It is something I have definitely been looking into.

Ecosystem research coming soon.

Hey there!

That's it. After a month, there's a post for every day of the month about women that inspire me from my past and present - hopefully long into the future. Some are down to be re-edited a bit because I don't love how they are missing some things I wanted to say as well as some formating issues that broke them when moving them here from where I had been writing them so they'll be back up again ASAP.

The series had no order or ranking, rhyme or reason to who went on which day other than starting with 2 of the first ladies to ever inspire me and a femme friend on their birthday to celebrate them specifically. Everyone else was written and just assigned a day.

  1. Grammy (my maternal grandmother who raised me)
  2. Laura (my favorite cousin)
  3. Babe (TheBabeWithThe)
  4. Erica (EricaPlz)
  5. Suzie (another childhood friend, one of my other very first friends ever)
    1. Amber (a childhood friend, one of my very first friends ever in my life)
  6. Briar/Thistle/WildThistle (not a 'woman' but this sometimes femme always them is one of my dearest friends in the whole world and like a sibling, and so I posted this on their birthday)
  7. Emi (Emidivergent)
  8. Moo (Moohoodles)
  9. Coco (CocoConfession)
  10. Ellie (3lleBelle)
  11. Dee (8BitDee)
  12. MarcyLaycelle
  13. Misfit_Playland
  14. Ash (AshSaidHi)
  15. Ash (MsAshRocks)
  16. Amber (Analog_Amber)
  17. Nurse/Shelby (NurseHuckleberry)
  18. Zeph (ParamixZeph)
  19. VeekayTV
  20. OtterLady
  21. Grandpa (TheRealRascallyGrandpa)
  22. Ally (AllyReggie)
  23. Lorb/Lerb/Lauren (Th4tGamerChick)
  24. Morgan
  25. Knimbley
  26. Moira (jemapelleMOIRA)
  27. Bee Sarmiento (BusyBeeSarms of Breadwork Games)
  28. Leina'ala (LA from PAX)
  29. Kasima
  30. Steffi Graves (AmongstGraves)
  31. Adeli3
  32. BONUS POST BECAUSE I WANTED TO LIST SO MANY OTHER FEMMES BUT I COULDN'T SO I HAVE SOME STUFF TO SAY ABOUT THE OLD WAYS CAST

Thanks to all the wonderful femmes for being in my life past and present I get to draw inspiration from.
